Corona virus

Like many other organizations, the Oregon Chorale Board has talked about the situation with the corona virus, and its impact on our members, programs and operations. We recognize that some members of the Chorale (and our audience) will be more affected or at risk than others. So we urge you to make decisions about participation in all Chorale events, including rehearsals and concerts, with your own health in mind, and also the need to protect others from infection.

If you have reason to think you have been exposed to the virus, or have a fever or cough, please do not attend any events. Just let Anna Zimmerman know about your situation. (membership@oregonchorale.org.) If you are fearful of crowds or exposure from others, please err on the side of caution. Any decisions you make will not affect your membership in the Chorale, as we recognize these circumstances require flexibility in our attendance policies. But please keep practicing your music while you are taking time off.

At this time we are not planning to cancel any events, but this decision is subject to change as circumstances arise.

Please contact our administrator, Diane Swingen, or our board chair, Karen Stratton, if you have any questions about this.
