The Oregon Chorale is a sixty-voice symphonic choir directed by Jason Sabino. Founded by Bernie Kuehn and based in Hillsboro, Oregon, the Oregon Chorale has been delighting audiences since 1985, performing choral music from around the world and maintaining an appreciation for technique while exhibiting flexibility of musical style. The passion that we have for singing challenging, beautiful music is matched only by our love of the community and the fun we create together. We have sung in over 40 languages, traveled all over the world, and are constantly looking for the next big work to perform. Our formal concerts showcase a variety of styles from Classical to Baroque, Renaissance to Contemporary. Our less formal presentations include world folk music, spirituals, dinner theater and staged shows.
The Oregon Chorale recently received critical funding from Oregon Cultural Trust. A heartfelt THANK YOU to the Oregon Cultural Trust, the Clackamas County Cultural Coalition, and the Oregon Legislature for approving and allocating $25.7 million Coronavirus Relief Funds to 621 cultural and arts organizations around the state. We are truly honored to share in this tremendous and generous gift and are so grateful to live in a state that places true value on the arts!
We are very sorry, but our public concerts are cancelled due to public health concerns about the coronavirus.
The Oregon Chorale is looking for tenors and basses!
